My temple is an unfinished house that is constantly delayed in getting completed. Partly due to supplier issues but mostly due to my own distractions and loss of focus. Like any house, maintenance is a must and that is also an area that requires time and attention. My dwelling is much more acceptable for the Holy Spirit than at any time in my life, and yet work and the cares of this world distract me from where my focus should be.

Amen! Always in the process. When it comes to God dwelling in us, we know that He wants to come it. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." The question is whether we invite Him in and allow Him to bring renovation.

I struggle with what it must be like for the Holy Spirit to live inside of me. I can imagine He must view this rebellious, ungrateful, forgetful, prideful.....well you get the point, I'm broken. The point is that He left the 99 for me! I don't measure up but for the blood of Jesus. I struggle daily to put aside the flesh constantly trying to pull me under but know through my struggle that Christ is there to pull me up out of the water when I'm drowning and walking in the fire with me. I know no love like this but with the Lord.
