I do believe that God is 100% in control but I do forget that sometimes when I think I have more power/control than I do to shape outcomes when I can only influence and work with others but not necessarily dictate or determine the end result. Being a good steward is taking care of that to which you have been entrusted versus worshipping creation which ignores the Creator. I agree, ultimately, the earth and all that dwell in it are for God's Glory.

It's often hard for me to put words to the sovereignty of the Lord in relation to my responsibility and stewardship. For instance, Scripture says in Daniel 2:21 "He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others." So if God determines who our "king" (president) will be, why do I need to vote? The best answer I have come up with is that God typically uses things He has set up in the "earthly" aspect of life, such as elections, to bring about His will. We are expected to do our part. I'd love to have some input on this!

The earth is the Lords. I belong to God so I should do what I can to appreciate and not take for granted the gift of life on earth Has given us. It also gives me hope that ultimately God is in control of this place so I can trust Him even in the storms that we experience in the climate and in our lives
